Many features are included with this quality 8 MP autofocus digital camera.  Each pic is geotagged so you can navigate back to the same spot easily; You can share your photos with family and friends through Garmin Adventures;  You can include more storage by inserting a microSD card; and you can even view your pics from other devices on the microSD card using the picture viewer on your Oregon 640t.

The Oregon 650t has all the necessary tools for the serious hiker/climber.  US topographic infomation is included for the whole of the U.S., including Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Alaska.  Detailed maps include all parks and forests - national, state or local and includes contours of terrain, elevation info, rivers, lakes, trails and other points of interest.

A 3-axis compass includes accelerometer and barometric altimeter sensors that show you where you're headed even when you're not holding the compass level or are standing still.  The barometric altimeter tracks pressure changes to give you precise altitude information and can eve be used to plot barometric pressure over time to monitor changing weather conditions.

The Oregon 6500t, with its highly sensitive WAAS-and GLONASS-enabled GPS receiver and HotFix satellite prediction, finds your position quickly and accurately, and will maintain your GPS location even in dense cover and deep canyons.
